Here we go...!

Welcome to the world of BDSMwood and thanks for joining me on my journey.

BDSMwood came to be because of a love for handmade things.... beautiful handmade things. And I love making beautiful things!

Oh, and a love for BDSM too.

The former I've been interested in for many years, since I was a child in fact. Watching my father, who was a joiner, make everything from cupboards to bowls to wooden sculptures, it always had me fascinated and wanting to make for myself. Over the years I've made many things, but found a love for wood turning relatively early on.

After a long break from anything 'woody' and meeting my partner, I was reintroduced into BDSM... or the Dom and sub world to be more specific. My partner is sub, very sub... and she likes to submit to me. She also enjoys the punishment, which was a new thing for me.

Now, I'm no sadist. But, I have to admit, the circle of energy that is created during a scene where she is being punished by myself is pretty amazing. I don't 'get off' on hurting her, but how much she enjoys it really gets me going and that is where BDSMwood came from. This was the ideal opportunity to combine the two worlds and make some truly beautiful, sexy, dangerous and enjoyable items for us to use. As well as anyone else who had the same desire, and there are many!

So here we are. The beginning of the road, a long (hopefully) journey that I'd love you to accompany me on so I can show you what I make, and give you the opportunity to have some fun too with tools from BDSMwood.
