Well, what an eventful sunday that was!
We had the pleasure of being taraders at the Liverpool Alternative Bazaar on sunday gone.. What a blast.
Not going to lie, I wasn't sure how it was going to go, or even what to expect with it being an Alt market rather than a kink market. But I must say, both me and @Nancy969 were pleasantly surprised.

Now, I'm not vegan... but Nancy is.... that's why we make a lot of vegan friendly gear, and what got us the space in this market. Who did the organisers put us on a table share with??? Another vegan stall I hear you say.... Nope. A leather worker! And we couldn't have asked to be next to a nicer guy. No judgement on either side, and we had a good laugh throughout the day. Plus, his work is amazing, check him out here.
It seems the alternative folk are just as kinky as the err... kinky folk!? Lots of interest from the get-go, selling a vegan flogger in the first 5 minutes of the doors opening! WOW, I couldn't believe it... maybe I'd been wrong in doubting we'd be out of place at the market. BUT... of course there's a but.... Did my phone want to take a payment? of course not! Bloody technology 🙄 new (identical) phones for both me and Nancy and mine wasn't wanting to take touch payments and I didn't have the card reader... things were about to go south very, very quickly!
Restarting my phone... eventually, after we'd figured out how to do it.. nope, not working... The customer was amazing, they went for a wander around the market while I cursed and wanted to destroy the phone. Last ditch attempt, get Nancy to download the app on her phone and try that... Hallelujah! And what the actual fffffffff!? no idea why her phone worked and mine didn't, but the queue of people that had built up at the stand were finally able to be served.

We met so many new people, sold loads of gear, saw some old friends and got rediculously hot in the venue. But what a day. I'm sure we'll be seeing some familiar faces at the Manchester Alt Bazaar on 9th June... come and see us, say hello, tell me if you've read this!
Anyway, got to get back to replenishing stock for the next market which is at Townhouse, Wirral on 26th May. Get your tickets here.
See you soon!
